On October 1st, Clay County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a 911 call concerning 2 suspicious individuals on someone's property in western Clay County. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said when deputies arrived one of the suspects had a bench warrant and also discovered narcotics and paraphernalia. Ashley Pierce, age 40 was arrested for a Clay County Justice Court Bench Warrant along with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Mark McNutt, Jr., age 33 was also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Both individuals remain incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center. Bond has been set at $5, 457.75 for each individual.
