A joint operation on September 14th, conducted by the State's Violent Crime Task Force, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Clay County Sheriff's Office and the West Point Police Department resulted in the arrest of 15 individuals on various crimes of weapons, illegal narcotics, outstanding warrants and various traffic violations. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated this operation resulted from the recent gun violence and auto burglaries that have been occurring in West Point/Clay County area.

Marissa Hollaway, age 34 of Crawford, charged with DUI and No Insurance
Marcus Sims, age 29 of West Point, charged with Possession of Marijuana in Motor Vehicle
Shaqueeka Randle, age 31 of West Point, charged with Possession of Marijuana, No DL, Failure to Yield to Blue Lights, Aggravated Trafficking - Schedule 1 Drug
Reginald Gates, age 44 of West Point, charged with Aggravated Trafficking - Schedule 1 Drug and a Clay County Justice Court Bench Warrant
Jaylon Eggerson, age 22 of West Point, charged with a Clay County Justice Court Bench Warrant
Gacody Lee, age33 of West Point, charged with DUI, Expired License Tag, Seat Belt Violation, No Insurance and No Drivers License
Corey Haughton, age 44 of West Point, charged with DUI, Seat Belt Violation, Suspended Drivers License and No Insurance
Latasha Robinson, age 47 of West Point, charged with a Municipal Court Bench Warrant
Donta Roberson, age 23 of West Point, charged with DUI-Other, No Drivers License, No Insurance and Seat Belt Violation
Anthony Randle, age 46 of West Point, charged with DUI and No Drivers License
Shellye Gore, age 49 of West Point, charged with Municipal Court Bench Warrants
Richard Jefferson, age 43 of West Point, charged with Possession of Cocaine
Wakedra Macon, age 27 of West Point, charged with DUI
Abosolom Byrd, age 49 of West Point, charged with Possession Methamphetamine
