In two unrelated arrests, the Clay County Sheriff's Narcotic Agents along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics conducted a search warrant at 7161 Hwy. 46 in Clay County on November 14th. During the search warrant, agents discovered the suspects trying to flush a felony amount of marijuana down the toilet. Agents arrested and charged Roderrick Walker, age 34 of Cedar Bluff with Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Felony Destruction of Evidence. Bond was set at $15,000.00 but remains incarcerated with a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Also charged was Savanna Hernandez, age 24 of Starkville with Felony Possession of Marijuana and Felony Destruction of Evidence. Bond was set at $10,0000.00.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated agents with the Clay County Sheriff's Office and Bureau of Narcotics arrested 2 individuals while conducting a traffic stop on Hwy. 50 West on November 14th. A felony amount of marijuana was recovered by agents during a search of the vehicle. Arrested and charged were Darian Henley, age 47 of West Point and Marcus Jones, Jr. age 19 of Cedar Bluff. Bond for Jones was set at $10,000.00 and Henley remains incarcerated with a $10,000.00 bond and a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
