Ondrae Clemons

Clay County Sheriff's Office Deputies were conducting a safety checkpoint on Hwy 45 Alt South in the early morning hours on August 7th. An automobile driven by Ondrae Clemons, age 32 of Macon attempted to allude the checkpoint by bailing out of his car. He was captured, arrested and charged with DUI-2nd, No Insurance, Expired Drivers License, Seatbelt Violation and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. His bond was set at $6,757.00. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated the recovered weapon appeared to have been altered and has been turned over to Alcohol, Tobacco, Fireams and Explosives for further investigation.
