On September 15th the Clay County Sheriff's Office Investigators conducted a search warrant at 17136 Hwy 50 West in Clay County. Clay County Investigators arrested and charged Komarcus Powell, age 22 of West Point with 3 cts. of Animal Cruelty. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated 6 dogs and 2 cats were recovered from the residence.
Sheriff Eddie Scott expressed appreciation to the West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter, Neely Bryan and assistances for working to help save the animals.
Powell's bond was set at $3,548.25.
